HI, I’M KAY

I AM THE FOUNDER AND OWNER OF MUSCLE GARDEN HEALTH & FITNESS CENTRE, GUEST SPEAKER AND AUTHOR OF ‘HOW BAD DO YOU WANT IT?’ THE 6 STEPS TO LIVING YOUR BEST LIFE.

I am a personal trainer, and it is my personal mission to make exercise easily accessible and convenient for everyday people in an environment where they’re treated like human beings and not numbers.

I first started Muscle Garden in 2012 as a personal training business working with clients in parks around Mackay. Today, we are grateful to be in four fully equipped 24/7 state-of-the-art fitness facilities with an excellent reputation. I’ve been a fitness fanatic for over 20 years, and I’ve been in business since April 16, 2012. During this time, I’ve put in thousands of hours training clients, and I’ve loved helping them transform not only their bodies but also the way they think and feel.

As a gym owner, I love that we are a gym for the everyday person; a gym that is welcoming and where members are greeted by their names when they walk through the doors. We are a gym that is family orientated and where members feel part of a support network bigger than just a gym; one free of any form of intimidation members feel comfortable to train. What I love most about what I do is seeing the genuine smiles and sometimes tears of joy on a client/member’s face when they’ve achieved a goal, they didn’t think was possible before. That’s what gets me out of bed in the morning.

My philosophy in life is anything is possible if you want it bad enough.
